Thursday night was another for he books.......
It has been a while, so bare with me on this situation On Thursday, I left my apartment at 10:50am to go to work and be there early to eat some lunch. I got stuck in stand still traffic on I-75 south. People ended up parking their cars and walking around. We found out that a man was trying to commit suicide off the Windy Hill Bridge. I did not get to work until 1pm. I did, on a good side, win tickets on Bay for Notre Dame vs. Stanford. It was $280. Lets just say that I am WAY broke right now. My friend Michele called me and said she had drink tickets for HALO. So, we decided to go out that night. We parked the car at the usual spot and paid the attendant $5 and were told that it closes at 4am. We go down the street in Midtown down 6th and Peachtree and got to HALO at about 9:45pm. It was really empty, so we left to walk around the town for a bit. We got back about 10:30pm and it was CROWDED!! We got our drinks, and Michele made a comment that there were many men there. I started to see that many of these men were kissing each other. Soo....I asked one of the bartenders that knows us from there on the weekends what event was that night. Yep....it was gay night. We decided to stay and finish our drinks. Michele got drinks bought for her and all these men talking to her telling her that she was beautiful. She was eating it UP! I never got one drink...anyone see a problem here? We walk back to the car at midnight, and the gate was down. It was one of those chain gates like in a mall. It was locked on both sides. We walked around to find any phone numbers to call. We called the valet service, and it was just a voicemail. I got really scared. It was not even my car. My car had been in the shop of a few days and I was driving a rent truck. That made this even worse. Then, four girls showed up and yelled,"Our car is in there!!!" I asked them when they were told that it would be closed and they said 4am. We decided to lift the middle of the gate to go inside our cars to get anything we needed. We then called the police...never showed up. We flagged down a cop, and he informed us that it was private property, so he could do nothing. Now, in the middle of all of this...people are walking by us and talking to us about our situation. People are making out with each other in front of us and being just really dirty! These little situations can just be left out of this journal entry. About this time was when we all were calling friends in town to let us stay at their place. A guy walks up and tells us that his car was in there also. He was told that it would close at 4am also. He got underneath the gate to go to his car like the rest of us. Well, we heard his car turn on. He drove through the deck and rammed the gate and almost hit us! It was SOOOO scary!! An alarm was going off and cameras were filming. We had to call the police to let them know what really happened. They never showed up again. We flagged down another cop and told him our story. He informed us that getting our cars out in the morning was not going to happen since the gate was now broken. He told us that he would give us permission to get the one side of the gate that was out of wack to pull it out into the street and get someone to drive our cars out of the gate. It took eight people to get the gate up. I finally got home at 3:35am. Not a good night since I had to be at work the next morning. In the end...I was like "I am never going partying again....until tomorrow" :) You know me...if there is a party...i must be there already...CAUSE NO PARTY BEGINS WITHOUT T-DIDDY!!!!! What a week...
I have not had the time to write in a while. I have been so busy with work and sleep! I am getting very tired of my internship! I think that after I get the credit I need, I may quit. There is so much I can go through sometimes. I think that I am a generally nice person, so why should I put up with the shit I do? I went to see Madame Butterfly on Friday night with Amanda. It was SO AWESOME!! The Atlanta Opera performed it at the ATL Civic Center. Although I think that it would have been even better at the Fox, I still enjoyed the music and story. Anyone not cool with summer classes? June 1st is when we begin. Pray for me. |

Tickets are here...
I have had a stressful day at the firm. I have to have two reports ready for my director by noon. One of the reports deals with almost 200 participants. I need major sleep. The Michael Buble tickets are here.. well... they are in the leasing office. I might come home at lunch and get them over nighted to our Boston Office so someone can actually use them. Maybe someone will feel bad for me and give me two plane tickets. I will just have to pray. Current Mood: rushed |

What luck...
I bid on some Michael Buble tickets on Ebay, and WON them for $0.01!!! OH MY GOD!! Here lies the problem... The concert is on Thursday and also in Boston. I wrote an email to his manager and BEGGED if he could help Sarah and I out with the airfare. I offered to even wash the tour bus! How lame am I! Maybe it could happen. Work sucks, gotta do both jobs again tomorrow. Current Mood: drainedCurrent Music: Roseanne Theme |

Here we go again...
Sarah came home with me and we went to have dinner at Macaroni Grill. She had never been there before, and I believe that she was a satisfied customer! We came back to my place to have a few cocktails and watch porn. She has never seen that either. My love bug graduated from UGA today. I am so proud of her! I feel bad though becuase she has to move home and drive to BFE to work now. That is life I guess. I met this girl last night at one of the parties I went to. As we were talking, I realized that she was my dance partner in high school at a thespian conference. I had a "WHAT THE FUCK!!" moment right about then... Random! Ready for the party....
Sarah is cleaning out her car as I write so we can get some free beer. I am so tired from being up early for work. My lovebug is all grown now and will be graduating tomorrow morning! I am supposed to meet her family now. I guess we move fast! The orchestra concert tonight was pretty good. I kept my sunglasses on the entire time... you know... I did not want my fans to recognize me! ;) One of the violin players walked up to me and was like, "Hey!!!" I could not remember how I knew him. He was in my Calculus III class @ Kennesaw State. He made a B, but I made an A. TAKE THAT BOATRIDER!! Just kidding! I say that to all my Filipino friends. Current Mood: dirtyCurrent Music: none to report |

So early...
I am at my desk and just wasting a little time. I am listening to the Rhythms and Patterns of the month of May by Lazaris. According to him, this is the year of union. My director got me interested in the ideas of Lazaris. My aunt is also into this speakers thoughts. There is much to this concept to take from and place in your own life. I always try to keep an open mind. I am ready for Athens! My lovebug Melissa Rohr is graduating. She has a new job with a financial company in Chamblee. I am proud of her! Anyone going to be out tonight? Anything free going on? Pay day is not until next Friday. I am doing GREAT with my new budget! |
| 12:44 am |
So tired...
I can not sleep and have to be up at 5am for work. I am going to Athens this weekend for graduation! GO MELISSA! I am learning to live on a budget since I seem to use it all on beer and food. I am doing really well too! I am just ready for pay day next week though. Maybe in the morning I can think clearly again. Sarah and I are talking about seeing Michael Buble in Michigan next month. We can make it happen! |

What a great night...thank you Greenberg Traurig!!!
Ok! My Linear Algebra professor gave me a D!!!! I did not even show up for the final! He failed half of the class! He must have had the hots for me! I also made an A on my Managerial Accounting final...which gave me a C. This was my worst semester EVER! My firm gave me tickets to see him tonight: He was so AWESOME! He sang songs like "Fly Me to the Moon", "My Funny Valentine", and "The Way You Look Tonight." We got to meet him and the band afterward. He gave me his CD AUTOGRAPHED and signed my tour book. It was is first concert! His international tour started today. I could tell he had fun. Him and I got to talk for about 10 to 15 minutes. He told me to try and come back to see him and the band again if the firm could arrange it. I was WAY excited! It made my night! |

You are a MASTER of the English language! While your English is not exactly perfect, you are still more grammatically correct than just about every American. Still, there is always room for improvement... How grammatically sound are you? brought to you by QuizillaNow THAT is more like it!!! I have to agree! |
